With an impressive 28 years of roofing industry expertise, Steve Cookson is a recognised Fellow and Director at the Institute of Roofing. His career journey, marked by diversity and advancement, began as a CAD Technician, eventually leading him to Director positions in various small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Steve's comprehensive experience spans all major roofing disciplines' technical and commercial aspects. Notably, he has been twice nominated to serve as Chair of the Technical Committee for the Liquid Roofing and Waterproofing Association (LRWA). Additionally, his expertise and leadership have been instrumental in representing the roofing industry on several British Standard Steering Committees.
